Founders

Grzegorz Wójcik

CEO

Grzegorz is Autenti’s initiator and CEO. He is an Internet expert with a particular focus on digital media and e-commerce. He was one of the founders of Interia.pl, previously also working for RMF FM, TVN SA and Grupa Onet. As chairman of the Supervisory Board at PBI, Grzegorz initiated the development of the standard for online users measurement. He was CEO of Allegro Group and used to be a corporate relations consultant for the Naspers Group (Allegro). He also launched and co-founded the Chamber of Digital Economy, and is a Board Member at e-Izba.

Tomasz Plata

CMO

Tomasz is a businessman with a passion for product marketing and new media. As an economist and MBA graduate, he has operated on the media market for almost 20 years, working for RMF FM, Radio Eska and Grupa Onet. In 2008-2013, as Head of Online at TVN SA, Tomasz formed the corporate online strategy and was responsible for its implementation. He created the video platform Player.pl and a dozen of websites such as TVN, TVNMeteo, Kulinarni.pl and Plejada.pl.

Bartosz Wojciechowski

CLO

Bartek is a legal counsel keen on combining law and the latest technologies. Since 2007 he has been leading the legal department at Allegro in Poland and the CEE region. He has influenced the legal policies of such popular websites as Allegro, Otomoto, Otodom, Ceneo, Citeam, BuyVip/Markafoni, Agito, Tablica/OLX, Stendi, CoKupic, Sendit, Oferia.

Supervisory Board

Marek Dworak – Chairman

Marek Dworak is an economist, investor and consultant. He graduated from Economic Cybernetics and Computer Science at the Cracow University of Economics, where he also lectured. He is also a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of “E-Kiosk” S.A. and a member of the Supervisory Board of “Gremi Media” S.A. publishers of ‘Rzeczpospolita’ and ‘Parkiet’. He has got 30 years of professional experience. For 16 years Dworak was part of the Management Board of the “RMF Group” and also held position of its President for 2.5 years. He was responsible for the development of the Group, participated in the process of introducing it to WGPW as a member of the Supervisory Board of “Interia PL” S.A. In addition to his professional work, Marek works socially. He is a co-founder of the Association of Business Angels “Sterling Angles”, a member of the Association of Polish Economists, in the years 2011-2015 he was the President of the Corporation of Graduates of the University of Economics.

Marek Kapturkiewicz

Marek Kapturkiewicz is a co-founder, investor and partner in Innovation Nest – seed / VC fund and co-founder of SPIN – School of Entrepreneurship Innovation Nest; He’s been a long-time board member, COO and vice president of Onet.pl Group and a director of product promotion and development at Tymbark S.A. Marek has got some extensive internet, marketing, media, technology and investment experience; He’s also an engineer – constructor (electronics, IT specialist) with many years of practice at the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies in Krakow. Kapturkiewicz graduated of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Electronics as well as business studies at the College of Business – National-Louis University in Nowy Sącz. He is a member of the Program Council of the Startup Poland Foundation.

Tomasz Serwan

Tomasz Serwan is the vice president of the RBL VC fund. During his career in reputable VC funds he carried out dozens of investments in companies from various industries. Many of them operate on a global scale. Acting as an independent specialist on the capital market, Tomasz was an adviser on mergers and acquisitions, both on the sale and purchase side. He was also responsible for strategy creation, process development and optimization for entities with high growth dynamics. During his career he took the place on the two opposite sides, both reporting and exercising ownership supervision.

Marcin P. Kowalik

Marcin P. Kowalik is an entrepreneur and investor with over 10 years of business experience. Founder and managing partner of Black Pearls VC. He has been managing the Seed / VC capital fund for 7 years. Marcin actively supports the development of the Polish economy by participating in the Stakeholder Committee of the National Center for Research and Development, Business Center Club and the Venture Capital Committee of the Polish Chamber of Commerce. Kowalik is involved in the following companies from the #BlackPearlsVC portfolio: Autenti, Telemedi, Insly, Teamscope, Skyrise and DeepBI. He is also a graduate of Kauffman Fellow (Class 22).

Krzysztof Tokarski

Krzysztof Tokarski graduated from Krakow’s WSP, he also completed banking studies at the Cracow University of Economics and the capital market at the Jagiellonian University. He’s a stockbroker with MBA title. Krzysztof started his professional career in 1991 at Pekao S.A. and his brokerage house. In 1996, after moving from Krakow to Warsaw, he worked as a trader in the Asset Management Team at Pekao S.A. Brokerage House. After establishing Pioneer Pekao Investment Management, he was the head of a team of traders. In the following years he was responsible for investment control in PPIM and global structures of the Pioneer Group as Head of Investment Control for Central and Eastern Europe. From the Pioneer Group, he moved to KGHM TFI, where he worked as an investment director, preparing specialized funds to participate in the privatization of the energy sector. Krzysztof worked for PZU Group from 2011 to 2015. He was the President of the Management Board of PZU Asset Management and TFI PZU in the years 2012 to 2015. In the years 2016 to 2017 – the Vice President of the Management Board of BPS TFI. From September 2017, Tokarski is associated with the PKO Bank Polski Group, where he’s a Director of the Private Asset Funds Management Department at PKO TFI, responsible for the PKO VC Fund. Krzysztof is a member of many Supervisory Boards.

Tomasz Matujewicz

Tomasz Matujewicz is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics. He began his professional career in strategic consulting at The Boston Consulting. Matujewicz has got an extensive experience in the broadly understood financial services industry, including leasing (LeasePlan Fleet Management), insurance (PZU) and banking. Currently, he is the Director of Strategy and SME Projects at BNP Paribas Bank.

Piotr Walter

Piotr Walter worked with ITI Group and TVN for over 20 years. In 1999-2012 he was Member of the Board at TVN and in 2001-2009 – its CEO. Between 2013 and 2015 he acted as Vice-President of ITI Group as well as Member of the Supervisory Board and President of the Strategy and Content Committee at TVN. At present, Piotr Walter is a co-producer of movies and investor, sitting e.g. on the Supervisory Board at Wirtualna Polska.

Tomasz Woźniak

Experienced strategist and visionary for new technologies development. He founded his first startup, mp3.pl, in 1996, and then for 10 years he was co-creating the Wirtualna Polska portal. Since 2015 he has been running one of the largest coworking spaces in Poland – O4 at Olivia Business Center in Gdańsk. Involved in Black Pearls VC, where he is a Board Member of the LQT Fund II, investing in innovative research and development projects focused on life quality technologies.
