Europa Ubezpieczenia accelerates business processes through integration with Autenti

Version 1 (1)
About the client

Europa Ubezpieczenia is one of the most innovative insurers in Poland, operating in the market for over 25 years. The company specialises in forming partnerships across three key segments: bancassurance (collaboration with banks), affinity (dedicated products for specific customer groups), and travel insurance. Serving several million Poles, the company focuses on enhancing competitiveness and agility in developing partnerships and selling insurance. In 2022, Europa Ubezpieczenia initiated a strategic digital transformation, with the implementation of electronic document workflows being a key element.

The problem

Europa Ubezpieczenia used electronic signature tools that operated independently of internal BPM systems. As noted by Grzegorz Pawlicki, Member of the Management Board and CIO at Europa Ubezpieczenia:

"We had electronic signature tools, but they were not integrated with our BPM systems. The signing of electronic documents was carried out via applications or portals that provide the qualified signature."

The company needed a stable solution enabling seamless integration with workflow processes to streamline document management and accelerate business operations.

The solution

Europa Ubezpieczenia opted for the Autenti platform, which offers extensive integration capabilities through its well-documented API. Grzegorz Pawlicki emphasises:

"The Autenti platform not only has an excellent reputation but also a well-documented API. This is exactly the tool we were looking for, as we needed stable and efficient integration with the workflow processes we were building."

The implementation of the platform was carried out in integration with the Webcon BPS system, which supports the majority of the company’s processes. This process included legal and procedural workshops, as well as adapting the solution to the specific requirements arising from the two separate entities: property insurance and life insurance.

"The most commonly used functionality of Autenti in our industry is the API it provides. We also value the tool's integration with the MS Teams platform and the ability to carry out the entire document signing process on mobile devices."

The platform is most intensively used by the management board, the operations department, and customer service. The primary documents processed include agreements, contracts, NDAs, and reports. A particularly significant advantage was the support for qualified signatures in reports and key agreements.

The results

The implementation of the Autenti platform enabled Europa Ubezpieczenia to establish a continuous and complete document workflow:

"The deployment of the Autenti platform, along with the appropriate add-on for Webcon BPS, allowed us to process documents in a continuous and complete manner (including the final electronic signature)."

The key benefits include:

  • Shorter document signing times
  • Ease of use on mobile devices
  • Cost reductions related to printing, transportation, and document archiving

As Grzegorz Pawlicki points out:

"The most significant advantage of e-signatures over traditional signatures is the speed at which all parties can sign and the cost savings related to the transport of agreements (e.g., couriers), their printing, or their storage/archiving."

"The Autenti platform not only has an excellent reputation but also a well-documented API. This is exactly the tool we were looking for, as we needed stable and efficient integration with the workflow processes we were building."
