Same-day invoices: how PFEIFER Poland cut delivery times from 1–2 weeks to minutes with Autenti eDelivery

About the client
PFEIFER Polska Sp. z o.o. is part of the international PFEIFER organisation, one of the world’s oldest industrial brands with a history spanning more than 440 years. The company was established in Poland in 1997 and has operated in its current form since 2023 following the merger of two entities: Jordahl & PFEIFER Technika Budowlana and PFEIFER Technika Linowa i Dźwigowa.
With 1,700 employees in 19 countries, PFEIFER delivers solutions for rope and lifting technology, construction, and load-securing systems. The company’s key differentiators are safety, system completeness and a high level of technical specialisation.
Problem
The PFEIFER team faced a time-consuming process of delivering invoices to companies that had not consented to e-invoices. Documents were sent by registered post or courier, which could take as long as one to two weeks. This delayed document processing at contractors and directly affected payment timeliness. The company needed a secure, rapid and legally compliant communication channel for customers and public bodies.
“We use e-delivery mainly to send invoices to companies that have not agreed to e-invoices. It is also used for e-delivery of correspondence to public offices, which has significantly sped up communications compared with traditional letters.”
Solution
PFEIFER Poland chose to implement Autenti eDelivery after comparing all qualified providers. The decisive factors were:
- an unlimited number of consignments,
- unlimited mailbox capacity,
- attractive pricing,
- and protection of recipients’ personal data — including no need to disclose the PESEL national ID number.
The Autenti platform enables fast, compliant delivery of documents to both companies and public institutions.
Results
- Invoice delivery times reduced from 1–2 weeks to a matter of minutes
- Improved on-time payments thanks to faster document circulation
- Lower costs versus postal and courier dispatch
- Secure delivery without exposing sensitive personal data
- Regulatory compliance with a complete evidential audit trail of receipt
Next steps
PFEIFER plans to extend the use of Autenti eDelivery to additional document processes — including contracts, annexes and formal correspondence with public offices. The company is also considering broader adoption of qualified e-signatures to speed up formalities further and increase automation. Over the next few months, the goal is to eliminate physical post wherever the regulations allow.
“By sending invoices via e-delivery, our clients process them faster, which translates into on-time payments.”
